The 6th KAGI21 International Summer School

This International Summer School aims to introduce participants to a new multi-disciplinary approach for the Earth sciences that emphasizes the physical and/or chemical processes that are encompassed in the "Active Geosphere". It is intended for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who received their doctorate degrees on or after August 28, 2005. And this year, we accept participants who possess nationalities of ASEAN countries, India or Japan. All participants will take one-week intensive multi-disciplinary courses in the "Active Geosphere" at “Crefeel Koto”, a training center with accommodation near Kyoto in Japan, and in the next week, all foreign participants will experience research internship at the Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University. The tuition of the school is free and travel expenses will be almost fully supported by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) under the JENESYS(Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) Programme.

All participants will take one-week intensive multi-disciplinary courses in the "Active Geosphere" at a training center with accommodation near Kyoto in Japan and then, in the next week, all foreign participants will experience research internship at the Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University.
